Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia (CTAG)
CTAG is a private, non-profit R&D technological automotive centre devoted to supporting the automotive industry in its research, development and innovation needs. CTAG is present in the different stages of the development of the product, from initial advanced research to product life. The fields of competence where CTAG concentrates its activities are: In the field of safety – manufacturing process and new materials; environment; electronics and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems); HMI, ergonomy and comfort; innovation management.
In the field of electronics and new advanced technologies, CTAG’s Electronics Direction comprises an interdisciplinary team of experienced engineers, technicians and specialists, focused on the following areas: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and technologies; communication and mobility; comfort; HMI and ergonomics; electronic architecture; testing and validation.
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT)
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland is the largest contract research organisation in Northern Europe. VTT provides high-end technology solutions and innovation services. With its almost 3000 employees, VTT provides a wide range of technology services, solutions and applications including ICT, industrial systems, biotechnology, energy, electronics, etc. VTT's turnover in 2010 will be about 276 million Euros of which about three quarters comes from contract work and joint research programmes. VTT is actively involved in international cooperation with automotive industry and road authorities to explore new technologies for improving traffic safety. VTT major areas in the automotive sector are sensors, communication, HMI and the evaluation of system impacts.
